The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) is pleased to welcome the community to its October Harvest Festival, Friday, October 30 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hawkins Field Airport’s (HKS) historic terminal.

Come and enjoy the season as JMAA stands ready to serve the public with a fun, drive-thru candy stop experience in front of the old airport terminal located on 1600 Sam Jones, Jr. Drive (Airport Drive) in Jackson, MS. While there will be plenty of treats to go around, JMAA will also provide complimentary face masks to each vehicle.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all participants, JMAA will be adhering to, and enforcing all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as federal and state health recommendations.

“This initiative is a great opportunity to further our efforts to engage with the communities that surround our crown jewel, Hawkins Field,” said Commissioner LTC(R) Lucius Wright. “It is important that we build upon the rich foundation of Jackson, Mississippi’s first airport and connect the love of aviation to the people and business communities.”

For more information on the October Harvest Fest, please contact JMAA Community Outreach Coordinator, Machelle Kyles at 601.939.5631 or via email, mkyles@jmaa.com.
