Together we can fight COVID-19! Remaining in compliance with CDC, federal, state and local health and safety mandates, JMAA has implemented measures to keep all passengers, customers, tenants, and employees safe during the COVID-19 era. Those measures include the installation of hand sanitizers throughout JAN and Hawkins Field Airport (HKS); health and safety signage and announcements throughout airports and via social media, reminding passengers of the following:

  • wear face coverings
  • wash hands for 20 seconds with soap and water
  • remain home and/or postpone travel when sick or experiencing flu-like symptoms; adhere to floor decals to illustrate practicing six (6) feet of social distancing
  • complimentary face masks are available for passengers who do not have face coverings for travel
  • plexiglass shields at every airline ticket counter, car rental counter, and shoeshine stand.

Our airline partners American, Delta, and United continue to provide outstanding levels of safety at check-in counters, gate areas, and inside aircraft cabins. For specifics on air carrier health and safety measures, please contact the specific airline.
