The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) is pleased to announce its upcoming Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Stakeholder Virtual Meeting on Friday, October 4th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm CST.
In compliance with Federal Regulations, 49 CFR Part 23, JMAA is in the process of developing its FY 2025-2027 3-year Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) program goal updates. We are seeking valuable input and feedback from key stakeholders including current concessionaires, minority and women-owned businesses, and trade associations to assist in establishing these important ACDBE goals.
The meeting will cover:
- Proposed ACDBE goals
- The availability of potential ACDBEs at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN)
- The impact of discrimination on ACDBE opportunities
- JMAA’s efforts to increase ACDBE participation
