Delta, Via and Frontier passengers, the multiple stall restrooms beyond the checkpoint are closed for renovations.  Alternative restrooms are available downstairs at Gate 18.  There is only one family restroom available beyond the checkpoint for passengers with disabilities.  We apologize for the inconvenience as we make improvements here at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport.


1) Travelers are strongly encouraged to arrive at JAN 2-Hours prior to flight departure and organize carry-on items to ensure ease and adequate processing through TSA Checkpoints. Be sure to check your flight status for any changes.

2) If you’re not sure what items are prohibited, visit www.tsa.gov.

3) Keep all personal items close. Never leave them behind or with someone you are not traveling with.


TSA Enhanced Accessible Properties Screening (EAPS)… what does it mean?
Passengers utilizing a standard lane will be asked to remove electronics larger than a cell phone from their carry-on items or bags and placing them in a bin with nothing on top or below the item.
