Jackson Municipal Airport Authority Announces Brand and Logo Refresh, Infrastructure Upgrades, and New Website Launch at iFlyJackson.com

JACKSON, MS – (September 10, 2025) – The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) is proud to announce a complete brand renewal, featuring fresh new logos, updated marketing imagery, and the launch of its redesigned website, now available at iFlyJackson.com.

This bright, new image for the Authority debuts concurrently with significant, customer-enhancing infrastructure projects taking place at both airports (Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers/JAN and Hawkins Field/HKS). Digital versions are being rolled out today. Physical signage will be phased in utilizing a fiscally responsible schedule. The current JMAA imagery has been in place for eight (8) years.

The new website provides a refreshing, user-friendly digital experience, designed to better connect travelers, business partners, and the community with all things JMAA. This launch complements the Authority’s updated brand identity and underscores JMAA’s commitment to customer experience and accessibility.

With this exciting, newly updated look, JMAA is demonstrating a new and positive direction for the greater Jackson and central Mississippi communities it serves, connecting key business and leisure travelers with the world. Capital projects are now underway to replace elevators, escalators, and HVAC systems, completely renovate restrooms in the main terminal, and improve runways, taxiways, and lighting for safe and efficient flight operations.

Significant endeavors are also in progress at Hawkins Field, including the launch of a new Fixed-Base Operator (FBO), Skyport Aviation. This FBO serves the needs of important business clients and private aircraft that utilize the close-in, historic west side airport.

Mississippians enjoy air service from JAN to many of the largest global hubs, allowing for hundreds of one-stop, worldwide connections to six (6) continents. Our premier air service providers—American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines—remain committed to maintaining the highest safety standards and customer experience every day.

For the first eight (8) months of 2025, JAN handled over 800,000 passengers, while total flight operations at JAN for 2025 also show a significant increase over the same eight (8) month period.

As you pass through JAN and HKS over the next several months, please “pardon our dust” as we update these important aviation facilities. We hope you enjoy our fresh, new look!
