Yul McNair, C.M.

Director of Business Development

Yul McNair is the Director of Business Development. He is responsible for growing both aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenues while overseeing all aspects of revenue generation including the JMAA’s business development, air service development, marketing, real estate development, and properties departments. Mr. McNair is also responsible for all aspects of the forward-facing departments that consist of Public Relations, Customer Service, and Community Outreach.

Mr. McNair has 22 years of private sector and airport management experience in airport property management, business development and administration experience in the commercial airport marketplace, Mr. McNair has developed a strong understanding of the intricacies of airport revenue producing programs and the airport industry’s dynamic business landscape.

Mr. McNair has served in leadership positions in the private sector throughout the Southeast and at medium hub airports located in Florida and Wisconsin.

His military background (United States Navy) and education (Master of Business Administration in Aviation) from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Bachelor of Science (Aviation Management) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale coupled with years of diverse property management and airport business development exposure is sure to be of great value to the JMAA team, mission and vision. Mr. McNair is also an American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Certified Member (CM). A Mississippi native, Mr. McNair was born and raised in Jones County MS.
