The Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport is gearing up for a parking management transition which will include new transportation services for travelers.

“We are pleased to announce the transition of our parking management to SP+ and Global Parking which will provide new shuttle services with Smart Drive and Zonar tracking technologies,” said Chief Executive Officer Carl D. Newman. “One aspect of our Strategic Plan is to create a standard for exceptional customer service. We want our travelers to have a smooth and pleasant experience while they are at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, so we will continue to make impactful and positive improvements.”

Under the five-year partnership, SP+ will manage the airport’s parking garage and two surface lots with 2,149 parking spaces. The company will also oversee shuttle services, which will be operated by MBE/ACDBE-certified Global Parking, Inc.
