Jackson, Miss. – More than 200 airport service providers and resources agencies are expected at the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority’s 2016 Construction Industry Day on tomorrow morning. With an overview of future airport projects for bid, the Briefing will be held at the Rankin Campus of Hinds Community College’s Clyde Muse Center. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. with the official program at 9:00 a.m.
Program highlights will include exhibits and presentations along with an information session on general contracting, construction, engineering and resources in support of the bid process with the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority. Future projects for bid over the next 12 to 18 months will be shared.
Included among this year’s exhibitors are: Fisher Construction Company; Georgia-based Global Steel Fabrication; and Mississippi’s Association of General Contractors; the Mississippi Development Authority; and Yates Construction Company. A dozen architects and engineering firms from Louisiana, Tennessee and Mississippi round out the service providers for infrastructure including: AJA Management and Technical Services; Innovative Engineering; and Waggoner Engineering among others.
The 2016 Construction Industry Briefing is the signature informational forum for architects, contractors, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers and vendors desiring to pursue business with the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority.
