The Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport is gearing up for a parking management transition which will include new transportation services for travelers.
“We are pleased to announce the transition of our parking management to SP+ and Global Parking which will provide new shuttle services with Smart Drive and Zonar tracking technologies,” said Chief Executive Officer Carl D. We want our travelers to have a smooth and pleasant experience while they are at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, so we will continue to make impactful and positive improvements.”
Under the five-year partnership, SP+ will manage the airport’s parking garage and two surface lots with 2,149 parking spaces. The company will also oversee shuttle services, which will be operated by MBE/ACDBE-certified Global Parking, Inc.
