|Carl D. Newman, A.A.E., Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Newman joined the Airport Authority in January 2015, and is responsible for the day to day management of both Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN) and Hawkins Field (HKS). Mr. Newman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona and a Masters of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.Prior to his position at JAN, Mr. Newman was the general manager for the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). His duties and responsibilities include the daily operations of Houston’s largest airport, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
In addition, Mr. Newman also managed the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the budget and expenditures for IAH, among other duties.Prior to his position at IAH, Mr. Newman served as assistant aviation director at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Mr. Newman brings more than 30 years of aviation experience to Jackson and has held various leadership positions including Deputy Aviation Director, Facilities Superintendent, and Airside Operations Manager.Mr. Newman is a board member for American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), and currently serves as the Chair of the organization. He is the immediate Past Chair of the Operations, Planning and Safety Subcommittee for AAAE and served as the Second Vice President of the Southwest Chapter of AAAE. He also served on the board for the Central Arizona Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators.
Mr. Newman currently resides in Jackson with his wife Jeanette, and is the father of three daughters and one son.

|Bonnie A. Wilson, CM, Chief Administrative Officer
Employed since 2001, Ms. Wilson directs the day to day operational, administrative and support activities of the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport and Hawkins Field. She is a graduate of the University of Houston and a member of the Airports Council International – North America, and the American Association of Airport Executives.

|Arnetrius Branson, M.B.A., Chief Financial Officer
Employed Since 2002, Mrs. Branson provides leadership and coordination in the planning, administration, accounting, and budgeting. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the organization’s management team, she is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects. She is hailed among our State’s noted accountants. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree from Alcorn State University, she successfully completed the Masters of Business Administration from Mississippi College.Her storied accounting and auditing accolades are noted with local government and non-profit organizations. Her 13-year tenured tract with the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority is recognized through her leadership as past Accounting and Finance Manager for more than 12 years. Her stint as Interim Chief Financial Officer is a personal feat and added value to the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority whereby she is credited for the 2005 bond refunding that translated into a $3.7M savings to the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority. Also in 2013, she was the recipient of the Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 Award for up-and-coming business leaders.

|Perry J. Miller, M.S., A.A.E., I.A.P., Chief Operating Officer
Perry is an airport executive who has distinguished himself by completing years of training to become an accredited member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), and the Global ACI-ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program (AMPAP). After graduation from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Airway Science and Master of Science degree in Transportation Planning and Management, Perry spent the next 20+ years working with the Houston Airport System.
Perry has served in a myriad of airport arenas, including airport operations, maintenance, properties management and business development. In the intervening years since his undergraduate internship, Perry has served in the capacity of Airport Manager of Ellington Airport, (EFD) William P. Hobby, (HOU) Interim Airport Manager of George Bush Intercontinental, (IAH) and is a ranking member of the Houston Airport System Management Team. In his position as General Manager at HOU, he commands a team of hundreds that must anticipate and juggle the needs of passengers, pilots, flight attendants, visitors and personnel, associated with the domestic air carriers that operate from HOU. Perry also serves as an Adjunct Professor of the Aviation Science and Technology Department at his alma mater.
Perry J. Miller, M.S., A.A.E., I.A.P. is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but, has been in Houston long enough to genuinely address a group – using the Texas – y’all. He is a passionate student of all things airport related, who has spent his life building powerful leadership skills, while balancing strong family bonds with his wife Tanya and four sons: Shane, Nekoda, Jachin, and Jahleel.

|Jack Thomas, Director of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) & Community Development
Employed since 2008, Mr. Thomas is responsible for managing and overseeing the disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) and community development program. He is a graduate of Kansas State University and possesses over twenty-eight years of DBE and community development experience.

|Renee Antoine, Director of Human Resources & Administration
P. Renee’ Antoine is a seasoned human resource executive with Fortune 100 brands, her 20 plus years of experience exemplify her strength in building and maintaining strong business relationships in an effort to better leverage human and intellectual capital in all change initiatives. Renee’ has advised senior management teams on career development, succession planning, organization alignment, and acquisition integration. She has a wealth of experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation strategy.Most recently, Renee’ was employed as the Human Resource Business Partner for George Bush International Airport (IAH). Prior to her tenure with IAH, she served in several capacities including Director, Human Resources, with ESPN Enterprises and ESPN The Magazine, New York, NY, as well as, fulfilled numerous HR roles with Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL. In addition, she held multiple positions with The Clorox Company, Oakland, CA, including Professional Recruiter specializing in Marketing. P. Renee Antoine is a native of Lake Charles, LA, and a graduate of Southern University & A. M College, Baton Rouge and Abilene Christian University, Abilene, TX, where she studied Business Marketing, Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation, and Organizational & Human Resource Development.
In addition to holding both Bachelor and Masters Degrees, Renee is certified as a Mediator and Strategic Human Resources Business Partner. She is a long standing member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Ms. Renee Antoine, seeks to establish herself as a valued contributing member of JMAA leadership team, ensuring all Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently. |Bryan E. Helaire, Director of Information Technology
Helaire will lead the Authority’s Technology Division which include its strategic planning, project delivery, and day to day operations for various technologies at both the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport and Hawkins Field.
Helaire hails from Houston, Texas, where he managed various operations of Information Technology. He brings with him more than 35 combined years of experience in IT and airport vertical. The technical solutions delivered under his leadership, yielded major dividends for passengers, airport operations and corporate.
Helaire is a member of the Business Information Technology Committee for the Airports Council International that examines new and emerging technologies for their applicability to airport systems. He is also instrumental in the Committee’s review of existing systems and how they can be improved to better serve the needs of customers.
A proven leader with a business-acumen and focus on cultivating relationships, he continues his quest in providing quality services for customers and innovations to the airport industry. Helaire holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston with multiple disciplines, Computer and Mathematics.
