Congressional Delegation and Mayors to Headline Ground Breaking Ceremony for Phase II of the East Metro Parkway

 (Jackson, MISS) – Congressman Gregg Harper of Mississippi’s Third Congressional District will be included among the headliners for this week’s Ground Breaking Ceremony for Phase II of the East Metro Parkway to be held this Thursday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. Representatives from the offices of Senator Thad Cochran and Senator Roger Wicker will also round out the dignitaries who will share in the event.  A collaboration between the Flowood Chamber and the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority, Mayor Butch Lee from the City of Brandon, Mayor Gary Rhoads from the City of Flowood, Mayor Brad Rogers from the City of Pearl, and Mayor Tony Yarber form the City of Jackson will also join in the festivities.  The Ceremony will be held at the East Metro Parkway at El Dorado Road and should not exceed 40 minutes.
